The Lagos State University (LASU), is set to hold a mixed Matriculation Ceremony for her newly admitted students. The event is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020.
After a long hiatus due to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID19) pandemic, LASU notified the concerned individuals through her official release from the office of the Centre for Information Press and Public Relations(CIPPR), led by Mr Ademola Adekoya .
The Matriculation Ceremony for 2019/2020 intakes, will take place both physically and virtually, albeit selected students are to participate in the former.
The Centre for Information Press and Public Relations(CIPPR) boss, Mr Ademola Adekoya, notified that only 10 selected students from various faculties will be allowed in the venue of the matriculation ceremony.
He stated "Note that only selected Ten (10) students per Faculty would be allowed to enter the venue of the Matriculation Ceremony."
The University has also rescheduled her 24th Convocation Ceremonies, and will now hold from Friday, 30th October, to 6th of November, 2020.
The directive is in line with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), with regards to social distancing and other measures to curtain the spread of the Virus.
